Before you go the bed. . .
Preheat oven to 375F
Pour 7 cups of oats in large pan(I use an 11×15)
Add 1 cup nuts/coconut/buckwheat grouts/etc as desired
Mix 1/2 cup each of brown sugar or Rapadura, oil, and honey. (I’ve also substituted the brown sugar with maple syrup).Heat on low until warm and mixed (usually just before boiling)
Add 1 tsp cinnamon and 2 tsp vanilla.
Pour over oats and stir until coated.
Bake at 375F for 10 minutes, take it out and stir.
TURN OFF OVEN. Add 1 cup of dried fruit if wish, and stir again.
Put it back in the oven and go to bed
Wake up to wonderful, homemade granola for breakfast! (or use as a base for trail mix, over yogurt, etc…)
