I was looking for yummy, comforting oatmeal on a chilly morning. This tasted like banana bread in a bowl.  It is warm, sweet, fruity and filling.

 

INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon butter
1 or 2 tablespoons sugar
1/3 cup oatmeal
2/3 cup milk
½ banana (mashed)
2 tablespoons walnuts (chopped)

 

INSTRUCTIONS

In small saucepan stir together butter, sugar (2 tbsp.if you like it a little sweeter), oatmeal and milk.

Cook and stir until almost done then add nuts and banana.

Finish stirring and cooking until completed.

Serve with love.
