Ok, so the name is not that appealing but it was how it was titled when it was given to me by a friend. I have made the mixture ahead of time and baked tem just as guest arrive.

 

INGREDIENTS

1 lb. Sage sausage

1 cup grated Swiss cheese

16 oz. Hellman’s mayonnaise (a must)

1 loaf miniature party rye bread

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350.

Brown sausage and drain well.

Stir together sausage, cheese and mayo.  Spread mixture on slices of party rye and place on cookie sheet lined with foil.

Bake until bread is a little toasty and spread is bubbly.

Serve warm.
