CREAMY FETTUCINI ALFREDO
Comments OffThis is a quick and easy recipe. If you want to make it a little more hearty add some grilled chicken, shrimp or fresh sauteed mushrooms.
3 tbsp. butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup cream cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan
1 lb. fettuccine
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and flour whisking until combined. Slowly pour in the milk, whisking constantly, until sauce begins to thicken. Add cream cheese and whisk until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese. Meanwhile, cook fettuccine according to package directions. Drain thoroughly and toss with sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
